The wild, wild road to the Final Four

What a game day! I’m exhausted. But exhilarated…….

Morgan William scored a career-high 41 points to lead Mississippi State past Baylor in overtime, 94-85.

William was in tears right after the win, because yesterday marked the third anniversary of the death of her father. She dedicated the win to him.

It’s the first Final Four in program history for the Bulldogs. Congrats to them.

Earlier in the day, Stanford toppled No. 1 seed Notre Dame, 76-75, in a game that also went down to the wire. The Irish threw up a shot at the last second, but Erica McCall’s block sent it to the sidelines. Brittany McPhee had 27 points for the winners.

It’s the thirteenth Final Four trip for the Cardinal.

Tomorrow it’s Oregon vs. Connecticut and South Carolina vs. Florida State for the last two spots.
