The Dream, Storm, Fever and Lynx had slow starts, and are now on the rise. Conversely the Wings, Sparks and Sky began strongly, and are now hitting speed bumps. It will be an interesting ride with more than half the season still to be played.

Today’s results:

The Wings defeated the Dream, 85-73, to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Lynx beat the Sparks, 67-61, for the third time in nine days. Napheesa Collier lead the way with 26 points.

The Sun held off the Storm, 85-79. Alyssa Thomas recorded the fifth triple-double of her career.
