A wild week in college basketball leads to a shakeup in the top 25. This week may have been the most challenging to piece together. With Stanford falling on the road to Colorado on Sunday, Louisville claims the top spot in this week’s poll. The Cardinal are followed by ACC foe NC State. South Carolina, Stanford, and UConn round out the top five this week. Maryland comes in at six, followed by UCLA, Texas A&M and Arizona at spots seven, eight, and nine, respectively. After suffering a home loss to Iowa State, Baylor comes in at 10.

Kentucky climbs to 11, and Michigan rises to 12. The Oregon Ducks sit at 13, DePaul at 14, and Ohio State comes in at 15. South Florida follows at 16, with Big Ten opponents Indiana and Northwestern coming in at 17 and 18, respectively. The Lady Vols fall to 19 and Arkansas drops to 20.

Joni Taylor’s Georgia Bulldogs soar to 21 this week after defeating Tennessee for the first time in Knoxville since 1996, and taking care of the Ole Miss Rebels on Sunday. They are followed by Mississippi State, Iowa, and Missouri State. Gonzaga cracks the top 25 this week.
