No. 1 Notre Dame continues to collect all first place votes, while Oregon UConn, Baylor, Mississippi State, Louisville (tie) follow suit. Maryland, Stanford, Oregon State, and Texas round out the top 10. Minnesota enters the top 25 for the first time this year, as Duke falls out. Georgia saw the biggest drop as they fell from 13 to 25, while South Florida rose six spots to No. 15.
It was a tough week for the SEC, as Georgia dropped both contests last week, while Green Bay was able to upset Missouri, Syracuse topped Texas A&M, and Maryland blew past South Carolina. Mississippi State and Tennessee were able to take care of business in their respective match ups, and they see themselves sitting No. 5 and No. 11 in the poll, respectively.
With a variety of Thanksgiving Tournament games this week, there is plenty of action worth following. Â Notable match ups include: Tennessee vs. Clemson (followed by either Oklahoma or UAB), Kentucky vs. South Florida and Nebraska at Miami. Mid-major powerhouse South Dakota State will take on Baylor, West Virginia faces Iowa, Louisville takes on Arizona State, Missouri plays Michigan, Georgia sees Maryland, DePaul takes on Syracuse, and UCLA faces South Florida. Notre Dame, Rutgers, South Carolina, and Oregon State will all play in the Vancouver Showcase this week, which could see the past two National Champions facing one another in the Championship Game.
