Canada, Billings make their marks on UCLA’s all-time lists

As they prepare to play basketball professionally, Jordin Canada and Monique Billings have left their names all over UCLA’s record books.

Canada is the program’s all-time assists leader, with 831 in her career, which smashed the previous record of 697. She ranks second all-time in scoring, with 2,153 points, and third all-time in steals, with 347. She is fifth on the list in 20-point scoring games, with 42 in her career; second in free throws made (518); and third in field goals made (768).

Billings is the all-time career blocks leader, with 228, topping the previous record of 179. She is second all-time in rebounds, with 1,159, and ninth on the scoring list, with 1,761. She is fourth all-time in made free throws (435).

The two Southern California natives led the Bruins to a WNIT championship in their freshman year, back-to-back NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearances, and an Elite 8 berth this season. They are both expected to be selected in the WNBA draft next week.
