Pullman, Wash. – Oregon sophomore forward Ruthy Hebard and sophomore guard Sabrina Ionescu both broke the 1,000-point career barrier Sunday in No. 9 Oregon’s 90-79 win over Washington State.

They join Duck great Jillian Alleyne as the only players in program history to reach the mark in their sophomore years.

Hebard did it shooting a perfect 12-for-12 from the floor and making all five of her foul shots, for 29 points. Ionescu, who broke the NCAA record for triple-doubles a few weeks ago, ended her night against the Cougars with 17 points.

Senior Lexi Bando, who reached the 1,000-point mark last season, returned to action from injury in the game for the first time since Jan. 14. She scored nine points on 3-for-6 shooting off the bench.

With the win, Oregon completed their sweep of the Washington schools.
