Notes

– Arizona State took the biggest jump this week, moving from 18 up to 14. A win on the road against Oregon State was extremely impressive, as was a six-point loss at Oregon. The Sun Devils are a team that seems to be one of those “hover” teams: they are always in the top 25, but never quite seem to make a jump up to being a true contender. If their recent form is any indication, they are primed to make some real noise down the stretch.

– Both Drake and Florida State jump into the rankings at 24 and 25, respectively. Though their 69th ranked strength of schedule leaves some to be desired, Drake is currently 13th in RPI and don’t have a bad loss on their resume. The Seminoles have the ninth-toughest schedule currently and have an RPI rank of 22.

-Teams that fell out: Tennessee (24) and Central Michigan (25)
