Pride nights this evening are especially pertinent

It’s Pride night in Los Angeles tonight, for the Sparks game and in New York, for the Liberty match up.

Though scheduled long ago, tonight’s festivities come just two days after the horrific Orlando massacre inside of an LGBT night club. The Liberty’s Shavonte Zellous, in a powerful essay “I am Orlando,” writes about how her sister was on her way to the club but got a call to come into work the next morning, and changed her plans.
