Pulling out those championships – barely

Holy moly! Not one but two conference tournaments were decided today by one point:

In the America East, UAlbany grabbed the NCAA berth from UMaine, 59-58. It’s the fifth straight title for the Danes.

In the Mountain West: Colorado State slipped past Fresno State, 55-54.

Other stunners:

Old Dominion upset #1 seed UTEP in the C-USA semifinals, 66-54.

UC Davis took down #1 seed UC Riverside, 81-72, in the Big West semifinals.

Buffalo upset Akron, 88-87, (after they also upset last night) to reach their first MAC title game.

I’m wondering what this NCAA Tournament bracket will look like on Monday.

More results:

In CAA semifinal action, James Madison stuffed Delaware, 68-47.
